Surrendering your animal

If you are unable to keep your pet because of circumstances in your life, we can help you by posting your pet on our website and screening potential adopters and helping your pet meet those adopters.  Since we are a foster home only rescue, we often don’t have the resources or the ability to take your pet into our foster homes, so we ask that you hold on to them while we are attempting to rehome him or her.  Here is the information on our program:

  • Once we agree to post your pet for you, we also ask that you commit to being available for meet and greets and events in order to allow potential adopters to meet your animal.
  • Before your pet is able to attend any of our events, we will also need their medical records, so that those records can go to the new family – once we find one. Please attach all medical records to the rehoming assistance agreement.
  • If your animal is not spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines and heart worm preventative, or microchipped we will help you get these things done. Should you decide not to allow us to rehome your animal, you agree to reimburse us for any medical costs.
  • We require that you complete our rehoming agreement prior to placing your animal up for adoption. PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT THIS AGREEMENT UNTIL YOU HAVE CONTACTED US ABOUT REHOMING YOUR ANIMAL.  The first step is emailing us at
